Lonely Days

Hello Surfers,

I'm writing this post just because I'm at home all alone, relaxing a little bit after a hard day of study.
My last exam is approaching and I'm really looking forward to being done with all this stuff and start again with new subjects and lessons!

My "postal activity" is doing great. The Travelling Journal is in the UK right now.
Some Postcrossers have already mailed some sand for my collection and I'm so excited because of that! In change I'm preparing some sets of postcards to send to those kind people and I'm so proud of that.

I'm also going to send a very beautiful postcard to China tomorrow; in fact, a Chinese Postcrosser had seen this beautiful card showing the Vittorio Emanuele bridge in Torino at night and asked me to buy another one for him, so I'm very glad to help in this way!

And... last but not least... I downloaded an amazing photo editing program from the Internet a couple of days ago. It's called Paint.net; have you ever heard of/used it? I'm trying to understand how it works but I must say that I really like it! I' hope I'll learn how to use it soon. Have you got any tips?

Here is my first experiment:

Bed time... Goodnight!  =)

Yes... I received the same postcard from Minsk from two different Postcrossers!
Unbelievable!

We've got our Journal!

Hi everybody!

Today I'm glad to introduce you our Travelling Journal!

Hehe, I'm too excited, I couldn't wait any longer so I've decided to buy it today.

Unfortunately it's made in France and not in Italy, but looking among all the copybooks of the store, this one seemed to be the best one to suit our project. Sooo, who cares if it's made in France, on the contrary, it's in step with the international spirit of the project, isn't it?!  :)

So, here it is!

Hope you'll like it!

Have a nice evening!

A present for you!

Hello again!

Since it's Christmas and time for presents, here is my gift for you.

I have here with me a small book which reached me a couple of years ago. It's "an enchanting tale for all ages", as it's written behind it. Its title is "Little King December" and it is part of a project of Bookcrossing which was started from an English guy (I guess), who had decided to send a book in every country of the world (wow!), and I can't remember why, but I was the right person to stand for Italy.
Anyway, I don't think it will be a problem if the small book keeps on travelling, since this is the spirit of Bookcrossing and I can't remember any explicit prohibition about making the book leave the country.

Sooo, if you want to receive it, leave a comment under this post. I'll gather all your names together, write them on small pieces of papers and one of them will be decided by lot, ok?

I just ask you, please, to register the book here once you receive it: it's very important.

Thanks a lot and have fun!

Travelling Journal!

Okay! This is the last post of the day, just to let you know about the idea I had while I was taking a shower
10 minutes ago.

I'd be glad to prepare a copybook we will then make travel among the participants. You will be able to write anything you want, or draw, stick pictures on it, share you thoughts, feelings, poems, why not!!! :)  At the end of its trip, the copybook will return back to me.

I just ask you not to keep the journal for a long time. Maybe if you understand that you have no time for it when you receive it, let it move on to the next participant. You'll be queued again when you have more free time for it. Then, please, make it travel safely (= proper package and stamps). In return I promise I'll post lots and lots of photos of it when I get it back :)

If you post a comment when you receive or send the copybook, we'll have fun tracking it during its journey :)

I had a similar experience with a group of Italian members of Bookcrossing and that was great! If you want, I can post some pictures of that copybook, just to let you better understand what I'm talking about ;)

So, if you are interested in this "project" just leave a comment under this post. I'll email you and gather your addresses. I'll make a sort of travel plan in order to create the best way and shorten the distances between two stops.

I think that we should put a time limit for entering the project, like for exemple, the end of the year. Then if there aren't enough participants, we'll change it.

Soooo! Plaese, help me!!! Take part in this project :) And if you know other people who could be interested, invite them!

I'm so excited!

Back to Postcrossing

Hurray!

I have to thank you people, because you made me feel like being into Postcrossing again. Actually I've always been into Postcrossing in the past 3 years but in this period, due to my pretty busy daily routine, I had left it behind. But since I'm trying to find a little more free time for myself, my thoughts and things I like (that's the reason why I've opened this blog as well), and thanks to your blogs about mail, stationery and stuff... I'm back to Postcrossing!!!

I've already got my first 6 addresses. Now I just need some postcards and stamps and the adventure will begin again!
- I was thinking maybe I should create something "Christmas related" on my own ? -

But 'till then... back to my school books :(
